Volkswagen Jetta Reviews
Total Aggregate Score
4 / 5
It is now an all-new model and a good car in its own right worth serious consideration.
4 / 5
The Jetta should be just the thing if the Passat is too big for you, but it cant match the Golf hatchbacks versatility.
7 / 10
With comfort and refinement now a higher priority for many motorists, this Jetta offers conservative prospective buyers a rounded package of attributes. Certainly, anyone downsizing from a larger premium saloon won't feel cheated. And, likewise, anyone moving up from a family hatch will be impressed.
3.5 / 5
Almost painfully fit for purpose. Pleasant, inoffensive and useful.
3.5 / 5
The Volkswagen Jetta might not be as desirable as the Golf, but its substantial rear legroom and large boot could be just the ticket for some buyers. They should also be impressed by its smooth ride, refinement and powerful, efficient engines.
3.3 / 5
The Jetta distances itself from the Golf with its own look, a longer wheelbase and more room inside.
3 / 5
It’s a practical, economical saloon, but the VW Jetta isn’t nearly as inspiring as the more up-to-date Golf.
4 / 10
There’s nothing wrong with the Volkswagen Jetta, but why on earth would you get one when the Golf is so much more versatile?

Only its mother could love this car.
