Review Summary
The Cayman is Porsche's best car. There, we said it. With a full body structure and the engine in the right place it has two immediate advantages over any other of the company's models, and it uses these to such good effect that it outhandles almost anything else on the road, or certainly anything of remotely comparable price.

What Car
Review Summary
Yes, it’s a bit of a shame that some of that soul from the engine note has disappeared, but when it comes to all-round usability, ride comfort, back-road entertainment and ownership appeal, there’s still nothing around to touch it.

Review Summary
The Porsche 718 Cayman is a joy to drive, a pleasure to sit in and great to look at. It’s just a shame the engines are more economical than they are characterful.

This without a doubt is the best version of the Cayman to date.

Review Summary
Despite upping the comfort and refinement levels, in the right hands and on the right road the Cayman remains a thrilling car that rewards talented drivers.

Still the greatest sports coupé out there, even if the Cayman doesn’t sound like it.

Auto Express
Review Summary
The entry-level Porsche coupe is no poor-man's choice, as it's arguably more exploitable than its faster models.

Great looking coupe that drives beautifully. Shame about the engine.

Review Summary
It makes a lazy driver of you, but the Cayman is still a devastatingly quick and also a sharper handling car than it used to be - it just isn't quite as desirable.
