The latest 991-generation Porsche 911 is undoubtedly one of the best handling sports cars in the world.

A fantastic sports car and one of the few you can live with every day. The Audi R8 might be more theatrical than the Turbo models, but the lower-end 911 models are world-class, and define the sports car category.

This is possibly the best Porsche 911 ever. That may be a bold statement but it is certainly one of the best driver’s cars of all time.

Even with the switch to turbocharging, the new Porsche 911 is still the sports car to beat.

For some people, simply owning a 911 will be enough, regardless of what it's like. The more critical of us love the interior and engine note, and greatly admire the way Porsche has come close to resolving the unresolvable handling problems caused by the engine location.

Review Summary
It's thrilling to drive on a challenging road, easier to manoeuvre than many family hatchbacks and comfortable enough be used every day for the commute to work. A fantastic all-round sports car.

Brilliant, but in making the 911 turbocharged, Porsche's diluted some of its panache.

Review Summary
There is no denying that this generation of 911 is less pure and less satisfying for keen drivers. But the margin by which it loses out is much smaller than many newly-turbocharged cars do versus their predecessors, and after a few minutes the previous car is all-but forgotten.
