Kimi Raikkonen stormed to victory in todays Malaysian Grand Prix at the Sepang circuit. The race was dominated by Ferrari from start to finish. Massa failed to secure a race finish after he spun out in what looked like driver error.

Robert Kubica secured a career best second place with Kovalainen third for Mclaren. Lewis Hamilton had a disappointing race and finished in fifth thanks to a problem in his first pit stop with his front right wheel. The Mclarens never seemed to have the raw pace of the Ferraris though.

Nico Rosberg in his Williams had a difficult race having lost a front wing on the first lap and later having fuel problems causing him to have to pit earlier than planned. At times the Williams car showed that it had a promising pace and the team are looking forward to Bahrain and a good recovery.

A lot of cars seemed to struggle for grip on the circuit, which has just recently been resurfaced with a new asphalt. Williams driver, Nico Rosberg, commented that he found it hard to make his Bridgestones work properly on it.

Mark Webber performed well in his Red Bull Renault, finishing in seventh place ahead of Fernando Alonso in the works Renault.
