Arjun Murti from Goldman Sachs has said that the chance of oil reaching $150-$200 per barrel in the next 6-24 months are 'increasingly likely'. Arjun Murti is the analyst who first predicted that oil would super spike above the $100 per barrel mark. Increased consumption from developing countries has lead to a situation where enough oil cannot be produced to feed the demand. At the time of the terror attacks in 9/11 oil was priced around $20 per barrel. | |
