Maxda MX-5 RF Reviews
5 / 5
The Mazda MX-5 Retractable Fastback's foldable metal roof adds a touch of extra glamour and refinement to an already great car.
10 / 10
Not quite as wieldy as the soft-top, but better looking, with calmer handling and a lot less wind in the hair with the roof down. In fact the RF is really a quite lovely little machine, although it is a bit expensive.
4.4 / 5
Just like its soft-top sibling, but with added roof-up refinement.
4 / 5
With revised suspension and fractionally sharper steering, the heavier and allegedly more civilised MX-5 feels that little bit better sorted than the roadster. And yet it struggles to achieve the main objective it set out for itself; namely to offer better refinement over the standard car.
4 / 5
The Mazda MX-5 RF has a retractable metal roof instead of the standard model's fabric version, adding an extra dose of style and refinement to an already impressive package.
4 / 5
The Mazda MX-5 RF is as much fun to drive as its Convertible sibling, but the step up in refinement isn’t enough to justify its extra cost.
