Jeep Renegade Reviews
Total Aggregate Score
4 / 5
The composed drive (on smoother roads), spacious cabin and its off-road potential all add to the Renegade’s appeal, but it's worth keeping in mind that there are also rivals that are cheaper to buy and run. This is an unusual car, and you have to be in the mood for it, but it deserves to do well.
8 / 10
It's arguably the most distinctive car in its class, and yet in four-wheel drive guise it is also the most capable.
3.5 / 5
We're impressed with this new Jeep. It drives very well indeed and offers solutions that no other car in the sector can quite manage. It's a bona fide rugged off-roader first and foremost, while nods to fuel economy and tax bills come in the form of front-wheel drive models that offer the image but without the higher monthly outgoings.

Charmingly authentic — but also pricey and rather rough and ready.
3.1 / 5
The Jeep Renegade stands out from the crowd with its chunky looks and excellent off-road performance.
3 / 5
The Renegade is the smallest and cheapest Jeep on sale, but does it still deliver on the brand's rugged image?
6 / 10
Jeep’s tough-look new Renegade brings much-needed brand kudos.
5 / 10
While not devoid of its own kind of charm, the Renegade is too expensive alongside rivals that are more spacious, better to drive and lighter on fuel.
2 / 5
The Jeep Renegade offers distinctive styling and decent practicality, but most rivals make it feel agricultural.
