Jeep Cherokee Reviews
Total Aggregate Score
3.5 / 5
The Jeep Cherokee is an improvement on previous versions in this class and does have some attractive qualities. It’s well-equipped and competent off-road, especially if you go for the Trailhwak model. It also has decent refinement, especially at motorway speeds.
7 / 10
The car rides, drives and performs considerably better than its predecessor. Jeep has also (almost) banished past cabin quality issues, as this car comes very close to premium European model standards.
3 / 5
The Jeep Cherokee 4x4 crossover struggles against rivals from Audi, BMW and Land Rover.
6 / 10
If you like the image of driving a Jeep and are prepared to swap lower resale values for more equipment, the Cherokee is worth considering.
3 / 5
With decent on-road manners to go with its off-road aptitude and more affordable running costs than previous models, the Cherokee is still not quite up with Europe’s best but it’s arguably Jeep’s closest effort so far.
2.6 / 5
The Jeep Cherokee is great off-road, comfortable and good-looking, but it can’t beat top rivals as an all-rounder.
2.5 / 5
It's hard to think of company in which this Jeep's flaws wouldn't be exposed.
2 / 5
For all its merits, the Cherokee falls short in some key areas, particularly cabin quality and refinement.
