BMW Z4 Reviews
Total Aggregate Score
4.5 / 5
Perhaps the most important improvement comes in terms of refinement and ride comfort, though: the Z4 is a coupe convertible that's easy to live with everyday.
4 / 5
It really does look very smart indeed, and as explained in our launch report this is one of the ways in which it holds its predecessor's head below the water line and keeps it there until the bubbles stop - the others being that it is much roomier, much more comfortable and much better to drive.
3.6 / 5
The BMW Z4 blended an upmarket image with wind-in-the-hair roadster thrills
3.5 / 5
A roadster should, regardless of your speed, make you feel good about driving it, and somehow the Z4 misses that mark.
7 / 10
Come rain or shine, the BMW Z4 looks and feels special, and while it’s not as fun on a challenging road as some rivals, the payoff is that it’s comfortable enough to make long trips easy.
3 / 5
The BMW Z4 is refined, classy and looks great, but the Audi TT Roadster and Porsche Boxster ride and handle better.
2.9 / 5
The BMW Z4 is stylish and good to drive, but it’s starting to feel dated and the lack of a diesel option limits its appeal.
5 / 10
Delivers decent space and comfort, but the Z4 is missing a dash of vitality.
